A new Ontario law just came into effect. Any car found to be driving over 50 km/h above the speed limit will be impounded for 7 days, the driver’s license will also be suspended for 7 days and the minimum fine is a whopping $2000.

It’s not mentioned in the article, but I think it’s the same punishment if you’re caught tailgating or doing wheelies or donuts. And it doesn’t matter if it’s not your car (your parents’, your employer’s, a rental…)
